Some might say her soul belongs in another decade. With her long hair and bell-bottoms, she might look like she does, too. But at 21 years old, Allyn is forging a path entirely her own.
Many compare her voice to the great female artists of the last century, such as Janis Joplin or Bonnie Raitt, and one thing is clear: Allyn’s music is timeless and classic. Her blues roots give her songs a soulful edge, and she has grown a love for storytelling from her time living in the North Carolina foothills. She has a deep appreciation for music, both new and old, drawing inspiration from artists such as BB King, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Amy Winehouse, and the Allman Brothers.
A career in music was not the plan for Allyn. She grew up playing music, but it wasn’t until the COVID pandemic and an excess of free time that Allyn picked up the guitar — and fell in love. She started performing in October 2023 and never looked back. Now, she has performed on hundreds of stages, finding joy in building connections with music lovers across North Carolina.
When it comes to songwriting, Allyn loves music that tells a story. She recently has truly fallen in love with the craft and is excited to continue sharing and recording original music.
From laid-back winery patios to late-night band stages, Allyn has a passion for delivering a performance experience that feels personal. Every set is tailored to the venue and crowd. She is now booking for all types of events across the East Coast, both solo and with her band, and is excited about every new opportunity to share the music she has created with those who are willing to listen.
